What is an AI Dust listing?

An AI Dust listing is your tool’s permanent home in the directory. It shows your tagline, pricing, platform, key features, and a direct link to your site. Every listing is reviewed by hand before it goes live — which is why tools on AI Dust tend to rank better in search than listings on auto-approved directories.

How to claim your listing

If your tool is already listed, you can claim it by submitting through the Submit a Tool page and noting the existing listing URL in the description. Our team will verify ownership (usually via your domain email) and transfer edit access within 48 hours.

  • Use the email address registered to your tool’s domain
  • Include your listing URL in the submission notes
  • Expect a verification email within one business day
PRO TIP

Always test the free tier before upgrading — most tools cap exports or active seats on free plans, and you’ll discover the real limits faster by using it than by reading the pricing page.

Write a tagline that converts

Your tagline is the first line anyone reads. It appears on the listing card, in search results, and in the weekly newsletter. The best taglines are under 120 characters, describe what the tool does (not what it is), and avoid buzzwords like “AI-powered” or “next-generation.”

Compare these two:

  • Weak: “An AI-powered writing assistant for modern teams.”
  • Strong: “Turn rough notes into first drafts in under 60 seconds.”

The second one tells the reader exactly what they get and how fast they get it.

Fill in every key feature slot

Listings with all five key feature slots filled get 40% more clicks than those left half-empty. Each feature line should follow the pattern: Short name — one sentence explaining the benefit to the user, not the technology behind it.

Set accurate pricing and platform

Pricing and platform filters are the two most-used filters on the directory. If your tool is free to start, select Free & Premium rather than just Premium — users filtering for free tools will never find you otherwise. Update these fields every time your pricing changes.

Keep your listing fresh

Listings that haven’t been updated in over 90 days are flagged internally as potentially stale. Log in, review your key features, and update your tagline whenever you ship a major feature. Even a small change resets the freshness signal and keeps your listing visible in the “Recently updated” sort order.
