Rauschwerk Verlag
Nonfiction publishing and writing support built around your own knowledge.
Overview
Rauschwerk Verlag is a Berlin publisher developing nonfiction books, guides and practical instructions with their authors. People can approach the publisher with an idea, notes or an unfinished manuscript. The author contributes knowledge and feedback; the publisher develops the agreed concept, text and book production with them. AI supports parts of the writing process, while editorial decisions remain with the people working on the project.
The website also offers writing tools and separately paid editorial services. Using a tool or purchasing a service is independent of acceptance into the publishing programme.
TKey features
- Introduce a nonfiction book idea through a free, non-binding enquiry, without a finished manuscript.
- Explore published books and the publisher's approach to developing experience into material for readers.
- Start your own book idea in the German-language Buchwerkstatt, with optional AI assistance as a separate step.
- Prepare a book description, title directions and a short synopsis from your material through the Buchpaket tool, then check and revise the suggestions yourself.
- Request separately paid help with a book concept, manuscript editing, biography or writing project. Scope and terms are agreed before the assignment.
Pricing
The first publishing enquiry is free and non-binding. Accepted publishing projects and separately paid editorial services follow their own agreed terms. Using a writing tool does not secure a place in the publishing programme. The manual Buchwerkstatt workspace is free without an account. Optional account-based AI help includes up to five text updates per day and three voice minutes in total, subject to the free service’s shared capacity. The optional voice subscription costs €20 per month including VAT for 100 additional AI voice responses per paid month, with no rollover and monthly cancellation. It is currently offered to adult private customers in Germany.
